ProFlex 850 Insulated Freezer Gloves

ProFlex 850 Insulated Freezer Gloves are built to keep your hands warm and comfortable in cold storage freezer environments. The palms and fingers feature a silicone pattern and reinforced thumb saddles for extra-strength grip and durability in rough environments. Comfortable neoprene cuffs and lightweight insulation offer full dexterity for all-day use.

Designed with 150g of insulation, these winter gloves trap heat for warmth in extreme cold, from -5 °F to -20 °F (-21 °C to -29 °C), These winter work gloves meet the EN388: 3X22 B and EN511: 23x glove standards. The thumb, index and middle fingers feature touchscreen-friendly materials so you can swipe, tap and type on smartphones and tablets without having to take your gloves off (does not work with cell phones with screen protectors). The freezer gloves also feature a soft thumb for wiping the nose and brow area, and reflective accents for enhanced wearer visibility.

CLO RATINGS

Insulation performance is measured by CLO ratings-which is a unit of thermal resistance that indicates insulating ability. The higher the CLO value, the higher the amount of warmth a piece of clothing provides. To determine temperature ratings, CLO factors, Metabolic Equivalent of Task (MET) and the time or duration of a task are considered. MET levels can be categorized as light activities (forklift driver, equipment operator), moderate activities (picking & packaging, delivery drivers) and vigorous activities (concrete work, tower climber). ProFlex 850 Insulated Freezer Gloves has a CLO rating of 1.3 and is rated at a moderate work level in -20 °F // -29 °C for up to 1 hour (rated up to full 8-hour workday at -5 °F // -21 °C).

Ideal for those working in cold storage facilities, whether in a cooler or freezer room. Also designed for outdoor workers in any industry, from construction to mining and outdoor recreational activities such as snowmobiling or ice fishing.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Individual thermal performance may vary due to personal and environmental factors. (And by "may", we mean definitely.) The truth is, thermal ratings are a performance guide, not gospel. The best direction available through exhaustive testing and consideration of three major factors--CLO value (insulation), activity level and time out in the cold. Working safely in bitter cold conditions still requires planning, regular breaks to warm up and the ability to identify common cold stress injuries. Long story longer, we are not liable for any cold-related injuries, including frostbite, that may occur while using our thermal gloves. Our responsibility is to provide you with a high-quality product based on the best testing available, but we cannot control how, where and under what conditions the gloves are used. Stay warm, stay safe, and use our gloves as part of a comprehensive strategy to protect against the cold, not as the sole defense.

delightful read
Format: Kindle
What a delightful read. The characters are awesome, the plot was so good, I loved it. I was intrigued and it kept me wanting more. Told in multiple pov, the book sucks you in and doesn’t let go. I cannot wait to read the next book.

not bad
Format: Kindle
I loved the plot of this book. The characters just didn’t have a lot of depth. The connections and “love” just weren’t communicated very well in the writing. The author didn’t write the sweet psycho trope very well at all either. Lachlan was just a mess of a character.

A Beta Worth Rooting For
Format: Kindle
In Spare, Violet Fox flips the omegaverse on its head, giving us a Beta heroine determined to make her mark. Joining the Beta Trials to support her sick father, she's thrown into a pack that doesn't want her, especially the possessive Alphas. But here's the twist: their sweet Omega turns out to be her scent match. Cue the angst, forbidden tension, and a slow-burn romance that will make your heart ache in the best way. Violet Fox delivers an emotional, refreshing take on the genre, proving Betas aren't "spares." They're stars.

Beta, Alpha, Omega oh my!
Format: Kindle
Omegas are precious and given to Alphas & their packs... but the Betas want in too. To this end, the Beta government is rolling out its trial of assigning a Beta to each Alpha-Omega pack. But forcing a Beta into a pack where they are not wanted will not end well... Of course, no one expected the Omega to fall for the assigned Beta. Great read and cliffhanger

A familiar story, just with…..less.
Format: Kindle
So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters. That being said, I don’t hate this…..but it wasn’t great either. It’s both books mentioned but just….less. Less angst, less emotion, less feeling. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception. SPOILER: The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured. I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.
